The Benefits of LinkedIn Marketing

The Benefits of LinkedIn Marketing

By: Cris Cusac (CFO)

Inflation times can be tough. Business expenses can seem to get away from you. So where do you make cuts in spending? From our experience it is usually marketing. While we obviously don’t recommend that if you want to continue to get new sales, it seems to be a knee jerk reaction from business owners. We get it, we are not your employees, we are not part of your product offering. But marketing is still a must for any business to survive.

We have noticed an uptick in network marketing. Networking through LinkedIn can be a cost effective way to meet new vendors, customers, or referral partners. Your business is important to us and we make sure that we can find people online.

If you are a financial professional and have reached the limit of your spheres of influence, hop on LinkedIn. Find people that seem to match your customer profile. Find people that match your referral partners. Find people that you may know people that they can help.

When you are on LinkedIn you want to look to make as many contacts as possible. You never know who is going to help you next. According to the New York Times, the average American knows 600 people. Which means that every person you know, knows 600 people. If you have 1000 contacts on LinkedIn, You essentially know 600,000 people.

Reaching out to your contacts for help with problems or a need might be prosperous. People generally want to help. The more people you ask the more chances you have to connect with a problem solver.

This being said, don’t be afraid to help someone else out. You never know when your help is going to turn into something that can help you. People love to know the person who knows everyone. With LinkedIn, that can be you. Many professionals that do networking on LinkedIn have improved networking skills in real life.

Big tip for LinkedIn networking — be personable. Everyone is having an issue in some aspect of their business. If you care for their business they will care for yours.

Connect with us today to learn how we can help you elevate your business with a LinkedIn marketing strategy!
